Aglio Olio Italian Restaurant

Aglio Olio is an Italian restaurant with two popular venues in Singapore. In the restaurant’s own description, it takes pride in being the first restaurant to localise pasta and Italian cuisine with a Singaporean twist.

The program is displayed prominently in the venues — Aglio Olio puts its loyalty card in front of customers rather than keeping it behind the counter.

The card

Ten stamps, but with something to collect on the way there:

5 stamps	Free chicken wings
10 stamps	Free Bacon Aglio Olio

Every time you purchase a main, you receive a stamp. Collect 10 stamps and get FREE Bacon Aglio Olio!

A stamp per main course is the earning rule, which keeps the card tied to a real meal rather than to any visit.

Why the mid-card reward matters

A ten-stamp card asks a lot of a customer before it pays anything back. The reward at five stamps solves that: the halfway point becomes a payday rather than a slog, and a customer who has already redeemed once has a reason to believe the second reward is real too.

Welcome and birthday rewards

Two extras sit outside the stamp sequence entirely:

• Welcome reward — a free lemonade, given for joining.
• Birthday reward — a complimentary main.

The birthday reward runs off the birthday captured on the member record, so it fires without anyone at the restaurant having to remember or run a campaign.
