Privacy Policy
Merchant Privacy Statement
Effective Date: 1 September 2023
This Privacy Statement ("Privacy Statement") explains how Flextech.io Pte. Ltd. ("Flex Rewards," "us," "our," and "we") handles the information that you provide to us as well as customer information collected when users join your loyalty program, and applies to all businesses or persons who create a merchant account or who otherwise use the Flex Rewards merchant dashboard and services (collectively, the "App/Site"). If you are an app user (a member of a merchant's loyalty program), your privacy statement terms are in the Customer Privacy Statement below.
Summary of Main Terms
- Flex Rewards takes data privacy seriously. The data collected from our systems is treated as highly sensitive information.
- As a pre-condition of customers joining a Merchant's loyalty program on the Flex Rewards app, all our app users (i.e. your customers) will be asked to expressly consent to releasing their names and contact information to the Merchant. Merchants can view and download customer information, along with other activity data, from the Flex Rewards dashboard. Merchants are free to copy and retain this data subject to these terms, and compliance with local data protection laws. By using our service, Merchants agree not to sell or share this information with any third parties. If a Merchant cancels service, we are not obligated to continue making this data available to the Merchant.
- Depending on which country you are from, customers may have the right to request deletion of their personal information. If Flex Rewards is requested to remove a user's personal information, we will comply. Merchants must also comply with any request to remove customer information from their records. See our Delete Account page for how to make this request.
- While we strive to maintain the strictest data security measures, there is always a possibility that our systems could be subject to malicious attack or hacks. In the event of a data breach, we will take all measures to mitigate any harm to our app users and to our Merchants. However, you agree not to hold us responsible for such events.
Detailed Provisions
1. Data Ownership
All data collected from the Flex Rewards app remains the property of Flex Rewards. As part of our service to you, we make a variety of data reports available to you including, inter alia, membership details and member stamp and reward activity ("Customer Data"). You may view, copy and download this Customer Data during the term of service with Flex Rewards. However, you may not directly or indirectly sell, share, transfer, license, or assign Customer Data to any third parties. Customer Data is provided to you under a revocable license with Flex Rewards. If your service is terminated with Flex Rewards for any reason, your license to use the Customer Data shall automatically cease unless otherwise expressly agreed with Flex Rewards.
2. Customer Consent
Customers who join your loyalty program will be asked to expressly consent to releasing their contact information to you for marketing purposes. If customers do not consent to such release of their contact information, they will be unable to join your loyalty program.
3. How We Use Merchant and Customer Data
We may use Merchant and Customer Data for, among other things, statistical and analytical purposes to improve the user experience, to make improvements to the way we deliver our service to Merchants and Customers, for design and product improvements, and for understanding and engaging our target audience for better marketing purposes. We may also share or exchange Merchant and Customer Data with technical partners to provide value-added services, new features, additional products, or other enhancements to the Merchant or Customer experience with Flex Rewards.
4. Images & Logos Uploaded to the Dashboard
You agree that we have the right to use images, logos or other information that you upload to your Dashboard in the App so that we can display your program details on the Flex Rewards app to our users. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the proper licenses and legal permissions to use such images or logos.
5. Financial Data
We do not retain your credit card information. Financial information is processed through Stripe.
6. Security
Flex Rewards has implemented administrative, technical, and physical security controls that are designed to safeguard your information. However, no online activity is ever fully secure or error-free. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that your information is absolutely secure. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any information to Flex Rewards.
Please recognize that protecting your information is also your responsibility. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your information when you are on the Internet, or when you communicate with us and with others through the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, or if you suspect someone else is using your account, please let us know immediately by contacting us as indicated in the Contact Us section below.
In the event of a security breach you hereby agree to indemnify Flex Rewards, its directors, employees, affiliates and subsidiaries, and hold us harmless from any direct, indirect or consequential loss, cost or damage that you may incur as a result of such breach.
7. Data Retention
We will retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and to maintain a record of your transactions for financial reporting purposes. We will also retain and use your account information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain aggregate or anonymized data indefinitely.
8. Third-Party Sites
Some of the functionality may be provided by third parties. For example, we use services like Stripe for payment processing. These third parties are not under our control and Flex Rewards is not responsible for their privacy policies or practices. If you provide any personal information to any third party or through any such third-party website, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the privacy policies and practices of that third party.
9. Directory Listing and Social Media Usage
We may, from time to time, for marketing purposes disclose to the public that your business is on the Flex Rewards platform. We may do so by promoting your business on the Flex Rewards website, or informing our audience that you have joined Flex Rewards on our social media channels. You agree that we may use your logo, business name, store address, website link, and your business images for such marketing purposes.
10. Children's Information
The Flex Rewards services are not intended for children under 18 years of age and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 through Flex Rewards. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13 and believe he or she has disclosed personally identifiable information to us, please contact us at [email protected]. A parent or guardian of a child under age 13 may review and request deletion of the child's personal information.
11. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information, and Your Choices
Keeping your personal information current helps ensure that we provide you with the most relevant services. You can access and update your personal information via your account profile. While we are ready to assist you in managing your registrations, deactivating your account, and removing your active profile and data, we cannot always delete records of past interactions and transactions. For example, we are required to retain records relating to payments issued to you for financial reporting and compliance reasons. In addition, because of the way we maintain certain services, after you delete certain information, we may temporarily retain backup copies of such information before it is permanently deleted.
If we send you marketing emails about services that may interest you, each email will contain instructions permitting you to "opt-out" of receiving future marketing or other communications.
You may also contact us at [email protected]to access, modify or request deletion of your personal information.
12. Your California Privacy Rights
Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California can obtain certain information about the types of personal information that companies with whom they have an established business relationship have shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. In particular, the law provides that companies must inform consumers about the categories of personal information that have been shared with third parties, the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties. To request a copy of the information disclosure provided by Flex Rewards pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, please contact us via the email or mailing address provided below. Please allow 30 days for a response.
13. California Do Not Track Disclosure
Flex Rewards does not have a mechanism in place for responding to browser "do not track" signals. This website does act on the Global Privacy Control signal, which is a separate and more recent mechanism — see Cookies and Similar Technologies on This Website.
14. International Users
Flex Rewards runs its services on Google Cloud Platform. Regardless of where you use the Flex Rewards services, the information collected as part of that use will be transferred to and maintained on servers located in the United States. Any information we obtain about you will be stored in accordance with U.S. privacy laws, regulations, and standards, which may not be equivalent to the laws in your country of residence. By using Flex Rewards, you consent to this collection, transfer, storage, and processing of information to and in the United States.
15. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns relating to this Policy or our privacy practices please contact us at: [email protected]
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Singapore before the Singapore International Arbitration Center. This agreement is governed by Singapore law. The language of arbitration shall be English.
Cookies and Similar Technologies on This Website
Applies to myflexrewards.com — last updated 29 July 2026
This section describes this website only. It does not describe the Flex Rewards app or the merchant dashboard, which are covered by the statements above.
What this website stores today
This website currently runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no third-party tracking of any kind. There is no Google Analytics, no Google Ads tag, no Meta pixel and no social media tracker on any page. The only thing stored on your device is the record of your own cookie choice:
- Your cookie choice. A single entry in your browser's local storage, named
flexrewards.consent.v1. It records which categories you allowed, whether you pressed accept, reject or saved a custom selection, and the date and time. It contains no identifier for you, is never sent to us, and is only written after you make a choice. We treat it as strictly necessary, because without it the site cannot honour the choice you made.
One further thing is stored only if you press the close button on the cookie notice: a single session entry named flexrewards.consent.dismissed.v1, which stops the notice reappearing on every page in that browser tab. It records nothing about you and is erased when you close the tab. Closing the notice is not a consent and is not recorded as one.
Two further things happen in your browser without storing anything on your device: the fonts and images on this site are served from this domain rather than a third party, and a video, if you click to play one, is loaded from YouTube's no-cookie domain at that point and not before.
Categories, and what each one would allow
The cookie preferences panel offers three groups. We are publishing the analytics and marketing groups before anything fills them, so that nothing can start measuring you before you have been asked.
- Necessary — always on, no switch. Currently only the record of your cookie choice and the notice-dismissed entry described above.
- Analytics — optional. Currently empty. If we add website analytics, it will be named in this list, and it will follow the switch.
- Marketing — optional, and never on without your permission in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Switzerland or Quebec. Currently empty. If we add advertising or conversion measurement, it will be named in this list. This is also the switch that controls sharing your activity with advertising partners, including what some laws call the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where you are changes what happens before you choose
Privacy law differs by country, so this site does not apply one rule everywhere:
- If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Switzerland or Quebec, optional cookies are switched off before you choose, and stay off unless you switch them on.
- Everywhere else — including the rest of Canada, the United States, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand — optional cookies may be active before you choose, and this notice is how you are told and how you switch them off.
We do not determine your location ourselves, and we do not store it. The regional distinction is applied by Google's consent mechanism, which resolves the region on its own systems; our site never receives it.
Your choices
You can accept everything, reject everything, or choose group by group, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, it takes one click from the notice, it is free, and it takes effect immediately. When you withdraw permission for a group, we do not merely stop setting new cookies — we delete the ones already set that we are able to reach from your browser.
Use the Cookie preferences or Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of any page, or . Clearing your browser's site data for this domain also erases your recorded choice, after which you will be asked again. We also ask again roughly every six months so that a choice you made long ago does not stand indefinitely.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal (Sec-GPC / navigator.globalPrivacyControl), this website treats it as an objection, in every country, and keeps analytics and marketing off. In that case we do not show you the notice and we store nothing at all — the signal is read fresh on each visit. We only ever read the signal as an objection: it is never treated as permission, and never as an indication that you do not object.
You can still switch a group on deliberately from the preferences panel if you want to; a specific choice you make there takes precedence over the browser signal, and the panel tells you when the two differ.
Global Privacy Control is a different signal from the older, unmaintained "Do Not Track" header. As stated elsewhere in this policy, we do not act on Do Not Track. We do act on Global Privacy Control, on this website.
How this is built
The consent tool on this site is our own code, served from this domain. It is not a third-party consent platform, so using it does not itself load any external script, make any external request, or set any cookie of its own.
